2026 FCP Pangos All-West Camp: NorCal Standouts

Wright's Basketball Scouting Service was at McBride High School in Long Beach CA, September 12-13 for the All-West Frosh/Soph Camp hosted by Dinos Trigonis. California is the first of 4 2026 FCP Pangos Frosh/Soph Camps held across the country.

There were 9 states from the West with more than 180 players in attendance. NorCal had 18 names on the rosters.

T0p 30 Game NorCal Participants:

Judah Van Ewijk: The 6'2 2029 guard from Archbishop Riordan in San Francisco returned to the Top 30 Game, he was selected to play in it last year. He was productive. He's one of NorCal's top playmaking guards in the class. 17pts, 6reb, 5 asst, 7/14 fgs, 3-3's, made good decisions.

Blake Poole 6'7 2029 Forward, Archbishop Riordan in San Francisco: He was our NorCal Player of the day on Saturday scoring 22pts, snatching 8 rebounds some he went coast to coast for dunks showing he can handle in transition. He had 3 steals. He's an improving prospect in the 2029 Class.

Micah Wafer 6'6 2030 Forward from Modesto Christian: We thought he was a Top 60 Game participant for sure, to our surprise he played his way into the Top 30 Game with his raw overall performance over 2 days and 3 games. A growing body, good hops, goes after rebounds, and blocks. He's got what they call potential.

Dillon Rice 6'5 2030 Guard from Archbishop Riordan was selected for the Top 30 Game, didn't participate.

Archbishop Riordan had 3 prospects chosen for the Top 30 Games.

T0p 60 Game NorCal Participants:

Ryan Ferraioli 6'1 2029 Guard from Monte Vista, Danville, CA. Played two balanced floor game ave 17pts in 2 game. He rebounded from the guard position, showed his willingness to spread the ball around. He put up good shots. had 4 assist in a game. Showed he could do multiple things on the court.

Devin Huey 5'11 2029 Guard from Pittsburg High School, PIttsburg, CA: Good all around play on both sides of the ball. A rebounding guard, a ball mover, makes the extra pass. He's got a few moves to get his shot off. A solid on ball defender. Can impact the game other than scoring. Had 8pts, 8 rebs 2stls in a game on Saturday

Jayven Dempsey 6'1 2029 guard from Freedom, Oakley, CA: Plays with intensity gives good effort on both sides of the ball. He's aggressive with ball in hand looking score but will move the ball, doesn't wastes dribbles using that burst of a first step to get by defenders. A good on ball defender can hound ball handlers, and gets up on shooters with a hand up. He had a high of 13pts, then 10pts in another another game.

Ethan Gilad 6'5 Forward from De La Salle, Concord, CA: Had multiple transition dunks. Works mostly along the perimeter looking to catch and shoot a 3ptr. Used 2 dribbles, kept the ball high for a layup off the backboard.

Michael Wright 6'5 2030 Forward from Pleasant Valley, Elk Grove, CA. He's a long wing type forward with a frame to build and get stronger. Has good fundamentals skills on offense, an alert defender. He has form on the catch and shoot corner 3's and other spots along the perimeter. Good upside.

Sean Valentine 5'11 2029 Guard from The Branson School. Played his way into the Top 60, with his willingness to move the ball. He's got court vision, had a nice long bounce pass in between two defenders in transition, then found a cutter while probing the perimeter. He has decent handles, 3-point range, speed to defend.

Kai Newman 6'4 2030 Guard, from Archbishop Riordan, San Francisco, CA. Was selected, didn't play.

Elijah Miles 5'9 2029 PG, Edison, Stockton Trevon Colmon 5'7 2029 Guard, Valley Christian, San Jose, CA: Shot the ball well played at a good pace, 6/10 14pts 1st game.
