Wright's Basketball took in an early season Juco contest between two Northern California ranked JUCO squads. San Jose City College defeated Modesto Junior College 84-80 in San Jose. It was a spirited comeback, down by 10 point with 2 minutes to play. These two rosters are filled with players from NorCal. San Jose City College roster has 12 of its 14 players from NorCal, while Modesto Junior College with its new head coach Brice Fantazia had 11 of its 12 players from NorCal High Schools.
For Wright's Basketball It was a look into the next level of basketball for many of our local high school prospects looking to play basketball after high school. NorCal is a big area with a good number of quality Juco Colleges. We have plenty of NorCal prospects who can play at this level.
