Wright's Basketball Scouting Report

On Wednesday (11/15), Wright's Basketball headed over to Bellarmine College Prep. (San Jose, CA) to scout a scrimmage hosted by Bellarmine. Palo Alto High School (Palo Alto, CA), Saint Joe's High School (Alameda, CA), and Palma High School (Salinas, CA) each played 20-minute rounds.

Bellarmine was the better team in scrimmages this day led by class of 2018 6'4, Jake Wojcik (Committed to Siena College) and Kendall Stubblefield a 6'6 class of 2018, Pf who has improved his all-around game. These two and a solid supporting cast will have the Bells in contention for another solid 2017-18 season.

Palo Alto HS was led by class of 2018 5'10 Pg, Jared Wilburn and class of 2018 6'4, Sg Maximilian Dorward. Palo Alto HS has some big guys who can shoot the 3 and the coach likes to let those guys push the ball. Palo Alto HS should be a quality opponent for any team they play.

St Joe's HS is a quality program that will always compete at any level, the coach will have those guys ready when the season begins.

Palma HS seemed like a team still in the early stages of their season. When Palma HS has all it's players together they will do well in their league and will improve as the season progresses. It is fairly early in the season, so I firmly believe that one scrimmage will not determine the overall season they will have. Let's wait until the end to see.
