Wright's Basketball Scouting Report From So Cal.

This past weekend I was in Anaheim, Ca at the Southern California Spring Tip Off. I was there to evalute top Northern California prospects. At this event the top Nor Cal players were from West Coast Elite NorCal 16u Hunter. This group is lead by Aidan Mahaney 6'2 2022, arguably the top Nor Cal Freshman in this class. He has all the tools, he makes other players step up their game. Austin Patterson 6'2 2020. I've seen him play several times now he's a solid player whose stock continues to rise. Ryan Kiachian 6'8 2021. Good fundamentals and footwork for a player his size, does all the right things, when he gets stronger his game will go to another level he has time. Takai Emerson-Hardy 6'6 2022, always plays hard has a good all around game, continues to work on his skill set, definitly a player to watch. Emmanuel Callas 6'4 2021. I watched him exert his inside play at the state championships in Sacramento last month. There's more to his game, he can put the ball on the floor from the wings and finish well at the rim when given the opportunity. JT Byrne 6'6 2021. I've seen him come off the bench and give quality minutes and make a solid contribution with his play as hard as you can approach. He's scrappy and works hard on the inside.

This group of Nor Cals can compete with many of the top programs. They lost to Team Why Not 16u. A team loaded with SoCal's top players in this age group.
