Wright's Basketball Report. The 2019, 66th Annual GIBT Results.
The final day at the GIBT wrapped up with 4 very entertaining games and lots of quality prospects performing at their best. Here's my final take of this great annual event.
Dublin defeated Salesian 66-61 to win the 2019, GIBT. Anthony Roy 6'4 2020 guard was named Most Outstanding Player of the event. In the final games Roy scored 18 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, 6 assists,and 4 steals. Te'Jon Sawyer 6'8 2020 forward from Salesian scored 20 points, and had 11 rebounds.
Archbishop Riordan defeated Campolindo 76-62 for 3rd place. Riordan's Bryce Monroe 5'11 2020 point guard (Sam Houston State) explode for 44 points. Aidan Mahaney 6'3 2022 dropped 26 points for Campolindo.
Capital Christian handled Weston Ranch 61-43 for consolation. Kendall Taylor 6'5 2020 forward led the way with 17 points and Sione' Lose' 6'4 2021 combo guard chipped in with 16 points, 11 rebounds. Donjae' Lindsey 6'1 2021 guard scored 18 points for Weston Ranch.
St Patrick-St Vincent got their first win of the tourney defeating Gridley 84-39. A 7th place finish. Jaden Alexander a rising 6'4 2021 wing scored 19 points, and Dishon Jackson 6'11 2020 center had 15 points, 11 rebounds, while Gridley's Cameron Erickson dropped 19 points in a losing cause.
