Super Saturday Review at Delta College in Stockton, CA.

Wright's Basketball the #1 scouting service in Northern California spent the day at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton California for the Super Saturday Showcase hosted by Venture Academy and Delta College. It was a day of basketball with teams from Stockton and other NorCal Areas.


Game 1: Bear Creek handles Lathrop 78-56 in a game we missed the start. BC led from the second quarter to the end. 6'3 2025 SG, Elijah Duncan led all scorers with 22pts including a couple 3's from around the perimeter, while we got our first look at Bobby Cotton a 6'5 2024 forward from Lathrop who led his team with 17pts and good inside play.


Game 2: Mountain House beats a young Atwater team 62-42. Mountain House is playing without leading scorer EJ Campbell (17.5). 6'5 2025 CG Shamar Jones led the charge with 17pts, while Coldin Parker 6'5 2025 W, and Jordan Assefa 6'4 2024 G/W provided good all around play. Atwaters Ali Banks Jr. a 6'0 solid body Sophomore had 11pts. Khoi Nguyen a 5'5 Senior PG, did well up top distributing the ball.


Game3: Inderkums length and aggressive style of play proved too much for St. Mary's of Stockton in a game that was close at the half. Inderkum pulled away 80-57. Jeremiah Butler the 6'2 2024 G/F muscled his into to the paint repeatedly for 23pts. We got our first look at 2024 unsigned 6'5 Senior Daniel Huerta who led his team with 23pts.


Game 4: Monterey Trail 72, Edison, Stockton 58.

Edison put together a spirited effort playing good basketball, until a late run in the 4th qtr provided separation. Brandon Gibson Jr an unsigned Senior and candidate for player of the year in Sac, led the scoring with 18pts, while Terrell Tek 6'0 2024 guard produced 19pts for his team.


Game 5: Venture Academy led a balanced attack putting together one of their better outings this season getting by Folsom 70-66. Folsom made a late comeback but Mario Williams put the finishing touches on victory with key buckets down the stretch to end with 21pts. Folsoms Joven Dulay 6'5 2026 G/W continues his good play with 20pts in defeat.


Game 6: Lincoln, Stockton ran away from Edison, Fresno 87-65. Anthony Moore 6'6 2025 Guard led the way with 27pts, while Quentin Thompson 6'6 Unsigned Senior wasn't far behind in point production and rebounds. Edison top scorer was 6'0 2025 PG Dereon King had a productive outing with 24pts.


Game 7: Modesto Christian runs away from Bishop O'Dowd in the night cap 63-44.

The Crusaders are getting quality play from its back court duo. Myles Jones 6'3 2026 Guard 16pts, and Gavin Sykes 6'4 2025 guard showing his passing skills, along with good play from 6'5 Unsigned Senior Marcus Washington who flirted with a double double 13pts 9 rebounds. Bishop O'Dowd Samuel Chavarin 6'3 2024, and Leo Champman 6'3 2024 both had 1opts.
